The Board of Investment (BOI) acts as the focal contact point for prospective foreign/local investors in collaboration with respective Provincial and Federal Government entities in Pakistan. In this regard, BOI has identified priority sectors for investment which include automotive, logistics, textile, food processing, IT, tourism, housing and construction sectors.
2. As a result of the reforms introduced by the Government of Pakistan, Foreign Direct Investment in Pakistan is being viewed as an essential tool for economic development which calls for promoting Pakistan as preferred investment destination.
3. In order to facilitate international investors in targeting areas for investment/projects, BOI has developed an online database of available 120 projects with federal/provincial governments worth 60 billion US$ available at https://project.gov.pk/pmis/#/. BOI has developed an interactive website (www.invest.gov.pk), regularly updated and can be viewed in eight international languages.
4. To facilitate our investor, all services being offered by BOI has been digitized (Work Visa, Permission of Branch/Liaison Office, Special Economic Zone).
