With effect from today, the Government of Canada will allow fully vaccinated foreign nationals to enter Canada. It may be noted that the approved vaccinations in Canada are as follows:
- Moderna
- Pfizer-BioNTech
- AstraZeneca
- Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
However, incoming travelers may be randomly selected for testing at the borders. Fully vaccinated travelers means that they should show proof of the vaccination which is accepted by the Government of Canada. The travelers should be vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entering Canada. A prearrival COVID-19 molecular test result taken on more than 72 hours before the traveler’s scheduled flighted should be presented. Rapid tests are not accepted.
The incoming travelers have to submit their mandatory information via ArriveCan.
