Attestation of Pakistan Driver’s License

Requirements:

#1 – 5 must be submitted to our office.

1) Filled in Form (do not give information other than on the driver’s license)

2) Valid or Expired Pakistan Driver’s License or International Driving License/Permit – Original and photocopy of front and back of driver’s license is required.

3) Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) or Pakistan Passport – Copy

4) Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a self-addressed registered pre-paid return envelope with their application to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver.

5) Fee Information:

In person: Bank draft/money order/certified cheque already issued in favour of Consulate General of Pakistan will still be accepted.

By mail: Applications sent by mail must be paid by bank draft/money order/certified cheque already issued in favour of Consulate General of Pakistan

Processing Time: Verification of driving license is done after receiving clearance from Pakistan which usually takes 6-8 weeks. Please note that we have no control over replies received from license issuing authorities in various districts of Pakistan. In some cases they take a long time to reply and we must wait for verification from their end. We regret any inconvenience caused in this regard.

  • Applicants are requested to note down the incoming and outgoing tracking # with the courier service in case package confirmation is required.
  • Please note we only service Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, North West Teritories and Nunavut.

Please Note:

An incomplete application will be RETURNED UN-PROCESSED. An application accompanied by fee in the form of cash or personal cheque will also be returned.

Before sending your application by mail, please make sure that the application form is complete and signed and all required documents are attached. For list of required documents please refer to the relevant section below.

Please note all those documents which require to be notarized must be signed by a Notary Public or a Lawyer and not by a Commissioner for Oaths.
